Climbing, jumping, and napping up high isn't just a random feel-good behavior for your cat, their need for heights is instinctive. Cats are tree-climbing mammals.
Today's indoor cats are safer than their outdoor cousins, but they often get bored and gain weight. There are ways to prevent this, though. A vertical territory with perches at different heights encourages cats to jump, climb, and pounce, and then ideally rest up high so they can keep an eye on their human companions and survey their kingdom from a high vantage point.
These cat shelves provide the cat with a better vantage point. From this location, the cat can survey its "kingdom" and be more attentive to the activities of people and other pets. If a cat is anxious or frightened, it can move away from the cause of its anxiety (for example, a pesky dog or small children).
Being up high allows cats to feel really calm and in control. This is what we call the sweet spot.

➡️ Will my cat agree to climb on the shelf?
Being elevated off the ground makes your cat feel safe, comfortable and protected from irritation if they want to sleep rather than play with other pets or children in the house. ▶️ Is it difficult to install the shelf?
No, you just need to make two small holes in the wall. The brackets are spaced 16 inches apart so they can be attached to the wall studs for maximum strength.
➡️ Do I need additional mounting hardware?
All you need is a standard drill and a wrench. We will provide you with 2 dowels and 2 screws as well as assembly instructions. The important thing is that the shelf is ready to hang. In the video below you can see how to install the shelf:

➡️ Is the cushion cover removable and washable?
Yes, the cushion cover can be removed and washed in a washing machine.
➡️ Is the shelf sturdy enough for my cat?
Don't worry, the shelf (and brackets) are extremely sturdy. They can hold up to 25 kg. Don't forget to install the shelf on the wall studs if you have plasterboard.
➡️ What should I do if I want to return an item?
If for any reason you wish to return an item you purchased, you may do so if the item has not been used or is not damaged, within 30 days of receiving your order.
